Whew! We're having a heat wave in Wisconsin! Today the temp reached 41, and a LOT of our backyard snow is melting. In fact, I can see the dirt in our garden. The sun beams through our southern exposure windows, and this pregnant lady actually started sweating today while working in the kitchen!

Yes, Todd, you have a point. We could never toss our fish out on the patio to freeze. We'd end up with a stinky lukewarm mess in about 2 hours flat.

But I have neglected to mention in my bragging that we are now planting our vegetable and flower gardens...and they are already growing! =)

I'm hoping we get some heirloom tomatoes to rival yours! We shall see how the Houston soil fares against Iowa this summer!
