Oh, how wonderful these times are! You are doing such wonderful things with these children, Melissa -- while Todd brings home the bacon. That is exactly what we did 30 years ago ---Mark worked (too many hours - 13 - 15 hours a day) and I "had fun with the children" -- BUT it was work!! Pat yourself on the back ---sometimes that is necessary, Melissa. Grandma Sue --wait till I come with my ACTIVITIES in Feb!! = == We will have such fun!

You know --that " Ella" name is so fitting for her little character. Good job in naming her, parents. We got back from TX Tuesday evening and the house is STILL a work in progress! thanks Melissa for all the updates of Christmas fun!I have been doing those same things ---only with the elderly!!!!!!!!! They aren't as full of energy as your youngins!! They too are so tempted to "lick the spoons"! Today I took the 'adopt a family " packages over to the care center and had the ladies help me wrap about 30 gifts! and yesterday I baked at the nursing home ----and oh, how many times I thought back to a few years ago I did this with my preschool classes. Those years were a lot of work -----but oh, so wonderful! Anxiously awaiting your visit ---SUE

What a wonderful tribute to a precious gift from God. Like a pastor said the other day --we do not get to choose our children --they are gifts from God. what a blessing! (And may this mother/grandma say---I have been so blessed with my "original 3 gifts from God" -- and then "3 more in laws that have been "gifts")--and now about 8 gifts of grandchildren. LOVE these! Hey - I know you guys use a black sheet (as do I) for home pics. I found that another awesome backdrop (that doesn't wrinkle or get fuzz balls) is a big piece of white foamboard from Office Depot. Just in case you're ever wanting a white backdrop. (I gave up on white sheets b/c the wrinkles, etc.)
